Sal is a highly regarded healthcare executive whose 30 year career encompasses successful domestic and international growth experiences in consumer healthcare, pharmaceuticals, national health plans and provider organizations. He entered the healthcare space as marketing executive on the TYLENOL brand and was a key member of the Johnson & Johnson team that successfully defended and restored the brand to its leadership position after the tragic 1982 tampering incident. Post 18+ years developing new product franchises with J&J and Merck, he helped lead the shift to managed care and later to consumer-driven healthcare as CMO of Aetna and President of InteliHealth, the consumer health information portal of Aetna and the Harvard Medical School.
